02-07-2006, 6:37 PM guytolman Joined on 02-08-2006 Posts 2 I always doctor up my cake mixes. Most of the time I use buttermilk instead of water. If I am out of buttermilk I will put a big spoon of sour cream in the mix with the other ingredients. It makes the mixes even better. The buttermilk is extra good in chocolate cake mixes.
